A driver was passing by the home on the 1900 block of Indian School NW and alerted the occupants of flame and excess smoke coming from the chimney and called 911.
AFD quickly arrived and found light smoke in the home and smoke coming from the chimney. AFD contained the fire to the chimney and prevented further fire and smoke damage.
No injuries were reported.
