AFD responded to various accidents along I-25 southbound to Lomas this morning at 6:30am. Three people were transported with critical injuries. Thirteen AFD units responded.
Twenty people were shuttled from the accident scenes by Albuquerque Fire Department units and brought to fire station 4.
Station 4 crews went above and beyond to make sure the stranded people were kept warm and safe until their relatives picked them up.
