Vassar House Fire

Units were dispatched at 3:33am this morning to the 1400 Block of Vassar SE. Engine 3 arrived and found heavy smoke and flame being expelled from the pitched roof. An Offensive attack was initiated and the fire was knocked down within 10 min. The quick actions of firefighter's prevented further fire damage.

50% of the home suffered heavy fire damage and smoke damage throughout.

The occupant wasn't home at the time. No injuries were reported. The fire is currently under investigation.
